The History of PDF…
… OK, not the complete history, but here is a very interesting piece of history about the Distiller, as recorded by James C. King (Principal Scientist at Adobe):
I did not know that the idea of the Distiller was actually created when John Warnock worked on the first PostScript printer. The whole story reminded me of the time when I did program in PostScript.
